Men's Ministry
Purpose of Men's Ministry
The purpose of the Men's Ministry at Miamisburg Assembly of God (MAG) is expressed in Colossians 1:28: "That we may present every man complete in Christ."
To accomplish the purpose of being made "complete in Christ," we believe that it is necessary to provide opportunities for men to interact with one another, both on a social basis and also on a spiritual basis.
In Proverbs 27:17 we are told, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."
Spiritually
Men’s meetings, special workshops and special functions are regularly being established. Their primary purpose is to help men grow in their relationship with God. A natural result of this is spiritually stronger men, husbands, fathers, families and churches. Also, these experiences facilitate solid and deeper friendships with other men.
Socially
The men of MAG have seasonal activities designed for fun and friendship. Range Shooting, hunting, fishing, golf are just a few of the many activities to check out.
